Hi, I'm Jessica! I am passionate about creating visually engaging, colorful, and detailed illustrations for children's publishing.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University, with high honors, in Design emphasis Illustration. In my studies, I fell in love with narrative art! A few of my inspirations are Beatrix Potter, Norman Rockwell, and P.D. Eastman.
I began my illustration journey working traditionally with pencil, watercolor, and gouache. In the last year, I have refined my process using procreate. I like to create in a way very similar to how I would draw if I were using pencil and paper.
When I'm not illustrating, I enjoy diving into my other creative hobbies like embroidery, reading, and gardening. I also enjoy health and fitness, and serving in my church and community.
